OOC -- Random Facts
Because I don't want to do homework.

- Her accent is, fittingly, southern English; however, Lucy's is a mix of the West Country and the London dialects (if you've noticed during conversation with her, she often drops the H at the beginning of most words).
- Never seen without her father's fedora, which is her good luck charm and assuages her homesickness.
- Loves chocolates of any and all kinds.
- Always has a pack of cigarettes. Lucy never really started smoking until her job with the Times. The newsroom is incessantly thick with smoke.
- Her taste in men is somewhat the opposite of what her parents would like; instead of the proper, clean-cut type, Lucy is attracted to the more rugged and daring sort.
- Very close to her brother, James, who she sees as her best friend in the world.
- Somewhat of a rule-breaker.
- Enjoys football, her favorite club being Arsenal.
- Has never really traveled outside of the UK extensively. Besides her stay in Paris, Lucy has only ever been out of the country once, to Italy, when she was very young.
- Doesn't like to be treated like a fragile thing that could break at any moment. She feels this is insulting.
- Shrewd and sometimes manipulative -- hey, she's a reporter. Cut her some slack.
- Loves to talk.
- Knows French but can't speak it very well. Lucy took it throughout her school years but stopped using it after she needed to. Being in Paris is helping her get back into the swing of it again, although it's still rather clumsy and and takes her a moment to remember certain words and phrases.
